Rahul Dravid – One day Career – A Statistical Tribute

He made his one day debut against Sri Lanka at Singapore on 03.04.96 under the captaincy of M Azharuddin. Batting at number four he scored 3 runs. He was caught at the wicket by RS Kaluwitharana of the bowling of Muralitharan

He registered his first fifty – in fact it is a ninety – against Pakistan at Toronto on 17.09.96. He made 90 in this game.

His first hundred came against Pakistan at Chennai on 21.05.97, He scored 107 in this game. This was the game in which Saeed Anwar scored 194, the then record for highest score in the annals of one day games.

His first score of 150 runs came against New Zealand at Hyd-LBS on 08.11.99, He scored 153 in this game. This was the game in which SR Tendulkar scored 186 not out. This is the only game in the annals of one day game in which two batsmen have scored 150 plus runs
