V Kohli {972}, Yuvraj Singh {968}, SK Raina {947} and G Gambhir {932} are the four batsman to total 900 plus runs in T20Is.

V Kohli need 28 more runs for his 1000 runs and if he gets it he would become the first Indian batsman to total 1000 runs in T20Is. V Kohli would become the 19th batsman in the history of T20Is to total 1000 runs.

V Kohli {105} and G Gambhir {109} are the only two Indian batsmen to score 100 plus boundary fours in T20Is. V Kohli needs five more boundary fours to own the first place among the batsmen who have scored most boundary fours. He would go past G Gambhir who has 109 boundary fours. V Kohli would become the 12th batsman in the history of T20Is to score 110 plus boundary fours.

There are 39 occasions of Indian batsmen scoring fifties in T20Is which include a hundred – 101 by SK Raina. SK Raina’s 101 remains the only hundred by Indian batsman in T20Is

V Kohli with nine fifties to his credit holds the record for most fifties by an Indian batsman in T20Is. He is followed by Yuvraj Singh who has scored eight fifties.

V Kohli is all set to become the seventh batsman in the history of T20Is to score ten fifties. He needs one more fifty to join the elite list of BB McCullum {15}, CH Gayle {14}, DA Warner {11}, TM Dilshan {10}, DPMD Jayawardene {10} and SR Watson {10} who have scored ten or more fifties in T20Is.

Irfan Pathan {28}, R Ashwin {25}, Harbhajan Singh {24} and Yuvraj Singh {23} are the four bowlers to capture 20 plus wickets in T20Is. R Ashwin need four more wickets to become India’s most wicket taker in T20Is, while Harbhajan Singh need one more wicket to become the third Indian bowler to capture 25 plus wickets in T20Is.

Indian batsmen have posted four three figure partnership in T20Is. The highest partnership for any wicket by Indian batsmen in T20Is is the 136 runs partnership for the first wicket between G Gambhir and V Sehwag against England at Durban on 19.09.07

Indian batsmen have posted exactly fifty partnerships of 50 plus runs in T20Is – the fiftieth partnership being the 53 runs partnership between M Vijay and RV Uthappa for the second wicket against Zimbabwe at Harare on 19.07.15

South Africa in Twenty20 Internationals

JP Duminy {1430} and AB de Villiers {1097] are the only two South African batsmen who have scored 1000 plus runs in T20Is. JP Duminy need 70 more runs to become the first South Indian batsman to total 1500 runs in T20Is. He would also become the second batsman to total 1500 plus runs in T20Is after BB McCullum. BB McCullum has an aggregate of 2140 runs in T20Is and also has the distinction of being the only batsman in the history of T20Is to total 2000 plus runs.

AB de Villiers has scored 95 boundary fours in T20Is. He needs five more boundary fours for his 100 boundary fours. If he gets it, he would then become the third South African batsman to score 100 plus boundary fours – the other two being GC Smith {123} and JP Duminy {110]

JP Duminy and F du Plessis share the record for most fifties by a South African batsman in T20Is. Both the batsmen have scored seven fifties. JP Duminy {07}, F du Plessis {07}, AB de Villiers {05}, JH Kallis {05} and GC Smith {05} are the five South African batsmen who have scored five or more fifties in T20Is.

DW Steyn {55}, M Morkel {45}, WD Parnell {38}, J Botha {37} and Imran Tahir {25} are the five South African bowlers who have an aggregate of 25 plus wickets in T20Is. M Morkel needs five more wickets for his 50 wickets. If he gets them, he would then become the second South African bowler to capture 50 plus wickets in T20Is. He would also become the tenth bowler to capture 50 plus wickets in the history of T20Is.

JP Duminy {44}, JA Morkel {39}, AB de Villiers {31} are the three South African batsmen to score 30 plus boundary sixes in T20Is. JP Duminy needs six more boundary sixes for his 50 boundary sixes. If he gets them, he would then become the ninth batsman in the history of T20Is to total 50 plus boundary sixes. Others are – BB McCullum {91}, CH Gayle {87}, SR Watson {69}, DA Warner {66}, Yuvraj Singh {63}, Shahid Afridi {56}, MJ Guptill {53} and EJG Morgan {51}.
