AJ Finch of Australia owns the record of most half-centuries by a captain opener in Twenty20 Internationals

AJ Finch’s 52 not out against Pakistan at Perth on 08.11.19 represented his sixth half-century as captain opener in T20Is. He now owns the record for most half-centuries by a captain opener in T20Is. He went past CH Gayle of West Indies and KS Williamson of New Zealand who have scored five half-centuries in T20Is as captain openers.
