NM Lyon captured his 90th wicket against India when he had Indian captain AM Rahane caught by MS Wade for 4 in India’s second innings. At the end of this test, his aggregate of wickets against India read 91.
He became the fourth bowler to capture 90 plus wickets against India. Others are – JM Anderson of England {110}, M Muralitharan of Sri Lanka {105} and Imran Khan of Pakistan {94}.
He also became the second spin bowler to capture 90 plus wickets against India after M Muralitharan.
