South Africa creates a world record – posts win by ten wickets chasing the largest total target
South Africa posted a ten wicket win against Bangladesh at Kimberly on 15.10.17 when they chased a target of 279 runs to create a world record. This is the highest total chased by any team to post a ten wicket win or to post a win without losing a wicket in the history of One day games. The previous record was with England when it chased a target of 255 runs against Sri Lanka at Birmingham on 24.06.16. These are the two wins in the history of one day games when a team has chased a target of 250 plus runs and posted a ten wicket win.
