KV Kaushal of Uttarakhand earned the distinction of scoring the first double hundred of the Vijay Hazare Trophy when he scored 202 against Sikkim at Nadiad on 06.10.18. KV Kaushal and VA Saxena of Uttarakhand scored 202 and 100 respectively against Sikkim at Nadiad on 06.10.18 and Samarth Singh and AD Nath of Uttar Pradesh  scored 115 not out  and 119  not out against Andhra at Delhi  on 06.10.18 to provide  the 22nd occasion of two batsmen scoring centuries in the same innings  in the history of Vijay Hazare Trophy.
