RA Jadeja’s all round  performance of 51 and 7 for 48 in the just concluded test against England at Chennai provides the 16th occasion of a cricketer scoring a fifty and capturing seven or more wickets in an innings in the same test match in the annals of test cricket. RA Jadeja’s unique feat – becomes the first cricketer in the annals of test cricket to score a fifty in an innings of a test, capture ten wickets and pouch four catches in the same test

RA Jadeja’s all round performance of scoring 51 runs, capturing ten for 154 and pouching four catches in a match at Chennai in the recently concluded test against England makes him the only cricketer in the annals of test cricket to eke an all round performance of a fifty coupled with ten wickets in a test and taking four catches in a test.

KK Nair of India scored 303 not out against England at Chennai in the ongoing test to provide the third occasion of a batsman scoring a triple century as his first century in a test innings.
