None of the other batsmen were able to score freely against a sustained attack of HS Sharath and A Sakuja who returned with two wickets apiece. P Dubey was economical as he conceded 20 runs in four overs capturing a wicket Established batsmen – Skipper RV Uthappa {04}, KC Avinash {24}. B Chipli {12} and Arshdeepp Singh {15} – failed to contribute. A Mithun’s duck without facing a delivery added to the woes

MA Agarwal was concerned in useful partnerships for the first wicket {45 runs} with M Kaunian Abbas, 35 runs partnership for the fourth wicket with SK Jain and 37 runs partnership for the fifth wicket with P Dubey which steered his team to a comfortable five wickets win. For the losers SA Khadir shone with the leather by capturing three wickets conceding 18 runs
