The first match of the tournament was played between Hubli Tigers and Mangalore United at Mysore on 07 Aug 2022

The captains of these two teams were – A Mithun for Hubli Tigers and R Samarth for Mangalore United

The wicket keepers who kept wickets for these two teams were – L Sisodia for Hubli Tigers and S Sater for Mangalore United

This match was truncated and was decided by VJD Method

Toss was won by Mangalore United and decided to field first.

The first pair of opening batsmen were – L Sisodia and G Naveen of Hubli Tigers.

The first pair of opening bowlers were – HS Sharath and V Kumar of Mangalore United

The first wicket keeper opening batsman in the tournament was L Sisodia of Hubli Tigers

S Bhavane of Hubli Tigers was dismissed run out for 9 in this game and became the first batsman to be dismissed run out in the tournament. Doddamani Anand of Hubli Tigers was the second batsman to be dismissed run out in the tournament. He was dismissed run out for 4 in this game.

M Venkatesh of Mangalore United who bowled at number three position was the first bowler to complete the four overs quota. He returned with figures of 4.0-0-19-1

The first fifty and also the half century was scored by R Samarth of Mangalore United when he scored 57 not out in this game.  He also became the first opening batsman, first captain and the first captain opener to score a fifty and also the half century in the tournament.
