Wasim Akram’s dubious distinction – has captured ten plus wickets on three occasions in Pakistan’s losing tests
Wasim Akram of Pakistan owns the record for witnessing most ten wicket haul in a test going in vain – three. DL Vettori, H Truble, M Muralitharan, Saeed Ajmal, SK Warne and T Richardson are the other bowlers who have witnessed two of their ten plus wickets in a test in losing cause. T Richardson is the only bowler in this list to concede 200 plus runs on both occasions when the test was lost. The following table lists all such occasions.
