SR Tendulkar was nominated to Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament on 26 Apr 2012 and took oath as Member of Parliament on 04 Jun 2012.  SR Tendulkar has played 12 test matches and six First Class matches {Five Ranji Trophy matches and one Irani Trophy Match} and aggregated 1007 runs. He has scored three centuries and five half centuries.
