M Morkel’s three for 35 in India’s second innings fetched him an aggregate of 18 wickets against India in India. He now shares the second place with M Ntini for most wickets against India in India. M Ntini also has a bag of 18 wickets. The first place is held by DW Steyn with 26 wickets to his credit.

HM Amla took his 75th catch of his test career when  he caught M Vijay off M Morkel for 7 in India’s second innings. At the end of India’s second innings, he had a tally of 76 catches against India. He became the sixth South African fieldsman excluding wicket keepers to pouch 75 plus catches in their test career. Others are JH Kallis {196}. GC Smith {166}, AB de Villiers {99}.
