Test Cricket witnesses the record sixth wicket partnership

BA Stokes and JM Bairstow of England added 399 runs for the sixth wicket in the just concluded Cape Town test between South Africa and England to provide the record sixth wicket partnership in the annals of test cricket. The previous best was 365 runs unbeaten partnership between KS Williamson and BJ Waitling in the test between New Zealand and Sri Lanka at Wellington in Jan 2015.
