LRPL Taylor scored 124 not out and 67 not out and KS Williamson scored 113 and 68 not out in the ongoing test against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo to provide the sixth occasion of these two batsmen scoring twin fifties in a test. LRPL Taylor and KS Williamson now share the record for most occasions of a New Zealand batsmen scoring twin fifties in test. Javed Miandad scored hundreds in his debut test, 50th test and 100th test. He is the only batsman in the annals of test cricket to earn the distinction. Javed Miandad of Pakistan, GR Viswanath of India and AN Cook of England registered hundreds in his debut test and in their 50th test. TM Dilshan is the only batsman to register hundreds in both innings of his 50th test. He is the 25th batsman to earn the distinction of scoring hundred in 50th test. G Kirsten scored zero and 134 in his 50th test. CH Gayle {317} remains the only batsman to register 300 plus runs in his 50th test. KF Barrington {256} is credited with the distinction of becoming the first batsman to score a double hundred in his 50th test. GR Viswanath-SM Gavaskar {brother-in-laws} are the only related cricketers in this elite list. KS Williamson is  the  only batsman in the  list  to score a century and a half century {113 and 68 not out} in  his 50th test

CH Gayle achieved a unique feat in Twenty20 games which no batsman has achieved in the history of T20 games. At the end of the Caribbean Premier League game between Jamaica Tallawahs and Guyana Amazon Warriors at Basseterre on 07.08.16 he had scored 742 boundary fours and 707 boundary sixes. He became the first batsman in the history of Twenty20 games to score 700 plus boundary fours and 700 boundary sixes

He scored 54 in this game which was his 60th half century in Twenty20 games. He became the first batsman in the history of Twenty20 games score 60 half centuries. His career run aggregate which read 9668 represent the most runs scored by a batsman in the history of Twenty20 games. His career figures as on 07.08.16 read thus

KS Willamson of New Zealand became the 13th batsman in the annals of test cricket to score a century against all the other oppositions.
