V Kohli scored two centuries in the ongoing one day series against South Africa – 112 at Durban and 160 not out at Cape Town – to provide the twelfth occasion of a captain scoring two or more centuries in a bilateral one-day series irrespective of the matches played in the series.  All such occasions are tabulated below

Ganesh Satish’s feat – becomes the first batsman to score ninety representing two teams in Vijay Hazare Trophy

Ganesh Satish’s 94 for Vidarbha against J & K at Secunderabad on 06.02.18 provided the 99th occasion of a batsman scoring nineties in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

It also provides the third occasion for Ganesh Satish to score a ninety in the tournament. He became the fifth batsman to score the nineties on three occasions in the tournament. Others are – M Vijay, MK Pandey,  SK Kamat and  Yuvraj Singh. The nineties scored by these five batsmen are tabulated below

MS Dhoni becomes the fourth glove man to effect 400 plus dismissals in the history of one day games

MS Dhoni effected two dismissals against South Africa at Cape Town in 07.02.18 which gave him 401 dismissals in one day game. He became the fourth wicketkeeper in the annals of one-day games to effect 400 plus dismissals. Others are – KC Sangakkara {482}, AC Gilchrist {472} and MV Boucher {424}.
