AB de Villiers of South Africa scored 71 not out in South Africa’s first innings against Australia in the ongoing first test Durban. This  knock represents his 15th  fifty against Australia. He now shares the record for most fifties by a South African batsman against Australia with JH Kallis.  JH Kallis has also scored 15 fifties. It is noted with interest that both the batsmen have scored five centuries and ten half centuries.
