JM Anderson becomes the second bowler to capture 100 plus wickets on a specific ground in the annals of test cricket

JM Anderson became the second bowler to capture 100 plus wickets on a specific ground in the annals of test cricket when he captured 103 wickets at Lord’s at the end of the just concluded test between England and India at Lord’s. M Muralitharan is the other bowler to perform such a feat. In fact, Muralitharan had captured 100 plus wickets on three grounds – 166 at Col-SSC, 117 at Kandy and 111 at Galle. Thus JM Anderson’s feat of 103 wickets at Lord’s provide the fourth occasion of a bowler capturing 100 plus wickets on a specific ground in the annals of test cricket.
