Erroneous and misleading information by Star TV during the telecast of the third one day game between India-Australia at Bengaluru on 19.01.20

Yesterday, towards the end of Australian innings, the big score board at the KSCA stadium flashed  an information that  Mohammad Shami completes 200 One day wickets.  This was an erroneous and misleading information. Mohammad Shani’s total number of wickets in one day internationals at the end of Australia innings read 143.

Further,  I also noticed that a batsman’s not out score was flashed thus – for example V Kohli was not out on 75 and had faced 65 balls – V Kohli 75 {65}*. This is a wrong way of presentation. It denotes that the balls are unbeaten and not his score. The correct way of presentation would be V Kohli 75* {65}.

Trust that the production team takes care of this and also do not furnish the erroneous statistical information misleading the media who are covering the match and  also the general public who have come to watch the match
