England won this game by eight wickets to post its 66th win in T20Is. It also represents its ninth win against India. It also represents its second largest win by wickets margin. It had won the first T20I on  12.03.21 by a similar margin

India lost this game by eight wickets to provide its 47th loss in T20Is. It also provides its fourth loss by eight wickets in T20Is. Prior to this loss, it has lost by eight wickets against Australia at Guwahati on 10.10.17, against West Indies at Trivandrum on 08.12.19 and against England at Ahmadabad on 12.03.21. This innings is also the longest test innings – 16 hours and 53 minutes. India’s total of 657 for 7d was built on VVS Laxman’s 281 and R Dravid’s 180 and their 376 runs partnership for the fifth wicket. India won this test by 171 runs to provide the second occasion of a team winning a test after being asked to follow on.

Mithali Raj of India completes 10000 runs in her international career

Mithali Raj of India completed 10000 runs in her international career when he was on 35 during the course of her knock of 36 in the third one day game between India Women and South Africa Women at Lucknow on 12 Mar 21. At the end of the game her aggregate read 10001. She is the second woman cricketer to reach the milestone after England’s Charlotte Edwards. Edwards has an aggregate of 10273 runs in her international career.

Her 6974 runs on one day internationals is the most runs by a woman in the history of one day internationals.
