P Jayawickrama of Sri Lanka captured eleven wickets conceding 178 runs against Bangladesh at Pallekele in Apr 2021 this year to provide the 16th occasion of a bowler capturing ten or more wickets on test debut. He became the first Sri Lankan bowler to achieve such a feat.  All such occasions are tabulated below
