S Gani of Bihar becomes the first batsman in the history of first class cricket to score a triple hundred on debut

S Gani of Bihar scripted a world record in first class cricket and also a Ranji Trophy record of becoming the first batsman to score a triple hundred on debut.  He scored 341 against Mizoram at Kolkata in the opening round of on going Ranji Trophy season 2021/22. He became the 17th batsman to score 200 plus runs on debut in first class cricket and tenth batsman in Ranji Trophy to perform such a feat.
