R Ashwin has played 38 tests, 44 innings, bowled 6103 deliveries, conceded 2827 runs captured 149 wickets, captured 14 five wicket hauls as a spin bowler sharing the new ball. He owns the record for most occasions in tests, innings, wickets and five wicket hauls in this category of statistics. He is the only bowler to bowl 6100 deliveries and also only bowler to concede 2800 plus runs while sharing the new ball as a spinner.
