Two bowlers capturing Twenty wickets in a Test Match

In 147 years of history of test cricket, there have been only seven matches where two bowlers of the same side have combined to wrap up the opposition in both innings. List of all instances when two bowlers combined to take all 20 wickets in a test cricket match:

1. Hugh Trumble (Aus) and Monty Noble (Aus) vs England, Melbourne, 1902

History repeats itself after 135 years and seven months

It is interesting to note that there are only two occasions of a bowler capturing eight wickets in an innings when only two bowlers bowling unchanged in a completed innings of a test. The first such occasion was in March 1889 when J Briggs of England returned with figures of 8 for 11 against South Africa at Cape Town. The difference in dates of these two matches is 135 years and 07 months. It is intereting to note that both J Briggs and Noman Ali are spin bowlers
