PL Mommsen collected the first ball duck in this game to provide 14^th occasion of a captain suffering from such ignominy in the World Cup. His duck in this game provides the 41^st occasion of a captain scoring a duck in the World Cup

 

PL Mommsen’s duck in this game provide the sixth occasion of a Scotland captain scoring a duck in one day games. He is also the second Scotland to collect the first ball duck in the one day games after GD Drummond. GD Drummond was dismissed first ball for a duck against Afghanistan at Sharjah on 08.03.13.

 

PL Mommsen was making his world cup debut as a captain and he collected the first ball duck on his World Cup debut.
