AD Mathews of Sri Lanka was dismissed first ball in the first one-day game against Sri Lanka at Christcurch on 26.12.15. This was his third occasion of collecting the first ball duck in one day games. The other two occasions were – against New Zealand at Dambulla on 16.11.13 and at Nelson on 20.01.15. He joined the list of captains who have collected first ball ducks on three or more occasions to become the 14^th captain in the annals of one day games.  The performance of all these 14 captains are listed below
