MS Dhoni, if he bats in tomorrow’s game, would become the first captain to play 50 T20I innings. He has played 49 innings as captain so far.
SL Malinga requires one more wicket for his 75 T20I wickets. If he gets it, he would then become the fourth bowler in the history of T20Is to capture 75 plus wickets. The other three are Shahid Afridi {91}. Saeed Ajmal {85} and Umar Gul {85}. SL Malinga would break the monopoly of Pakistan bowlers as they occupy the first three places. He also would become the first Sri Lankan bowler to capture 75 plus wickets.
TM Dilshan has an aggregate of 191 boundary fours in T20Is and requires nine more for his 200 boundary fours. If he gets them, he would then become the first Sri Lankan batsman and first batsman in the history of T20I to score 200 boundary fours. He would go past BB McCullum who has an aggregate of 199 boundary fours.
TM Dilshan has an aggregate of 1618 runs prior to the start of tomorrow’s game. He needs 49 runs to surpass MG Guptill’s aggregate of 1666 T20I runs. If he scores them, he would then occupy the second place in the list of most run getters in T20Is. BB McCullum occupies the first place with 2140 runs. TM Dilshan would break the monopoly of New Zealand batsmen as they occupy the first two places.
SL Malinga has an aggregate of 295 wickets in T20 games. He needs five more wickets for his 300 wickets. If he gets them, he would then become the first bowler in the history of T20 games to capture 300 wickets.
TM Dilshan has an aggregate of 4922 runs in T20 games. He needs 78 runs more for his 5000 runs. He would then become the first Sri Lankan batsman to total 5000 T20 runs in the history of T20 games.
