Bangladesh won this game by five wickets to provide its 18th victory in T20Is and its second win against Pakistan. Prior to this, it had won by seven wickets at Dhaka on 24.04.15. This win also represents Bangladesh’s eleventh win on home soil.
Pakistan’s loss in this game was its 40th loss in T20Is. It now owns the record for most losses in the history of T20Is. New Zealand with 39 losses held the previous record.
