He went past SR Tendulkar who has accomplished the feat in two editions. 618 in 2010 and 553 in 2011. V Kohli’s 634 in 2013 represents the most runs scored by a captain in any edition of Indian Premier League.

V Kohli’s 108 not out provide the fifth occasion of a captain scoring a hundred in IPL. He is the only captain to score two centuries – 100 not out against Gujarat Lions at Rajkot on 24.04.16 and 108 not out against Rising Pune Supergiants at Bangalore on 07.05.16.
