Zaheer Khan's feat : aggregates 100 wickets in India's winning tests
When India won the test against Sri Lanka at Kanpur by an innings and 144 runs, Zaheer Khan, the spear head of the Indian pace bowling attach, reached a milestone which went unnoticed. He captured his 100th wicket in India’s winning tests.
He became the 51st bowler in the world to capture 100 plus wickets in a team’s winning test. He is the third Indian bowler after A Kumble {288} and Harbhajan Singh {176} to achieve the feat.
Zaheer Khan is the 36th pace bowler to capture 100 plus wickets in a team’s winning tests. He is the first Indian bowler to achieve the feat.
Zaheer Khan became the third left arm pace bowler in the world to capture 100 plus wickets in a team’s winning tests after Wasim Akram of Pakistan{211} and Chaminda Vaas of Sri Lanka {166}
