MN Samuels of West Indies completed 5000 runs in his one day career when he was on 67 during the course of his knock of 125 against Australia at Bridgetown on 21.06.16 in the eighth game of the ongoing Tri Series in West Indies. He became the 76^th batsman to reach the milestone in the annals of one day games and also the tenth West Indian batsman to complete 5000 one day runs.
