AN Cook of England completed 1500 runs against Pakistan to become the eighth batsman to accomplish the feat. He reached the milestone when he was on 6 during his knock of 64 not out in England second innings in the ongoing test at Birmingham. His aggregate on 07.08.16 read 1558. Others to score 1500 runs against Pakistan are – KC Sangakkara {2911}, SM Gavaskar {2089}, DPMD Jayawardene {1687}, AR Border {1666}, GS Chappell {1581}, JH Kallis {1564} and RT Ponting {1558}.
