R Ashwin’s 12 for 167 against England at Mumbai in the recently concluded test represents his fifth 12 plus wicket haul comprising of two five wickets innings haul in each innings of a test match. He became the third bowler in the annals of test cricket to capture twelve or more wickets in a test comprising of two five wickets haul in each innings after M Muralitharan and HMRKB Herath of Sri Lanka.
