DA Warner becomes the fifth batsman in the annals of test cricket to score century before Lunch on the first day of the test

DA Warner of Australia became the fifth batsman in the  annals of test cricket to score a century before Lunch on the first day of the test. The complete list of batsman who have accomplished the feat is listed below.

It is note that he became the fourth Australian batsman to accomplish the feat and also the first batsman to perform the feat against Pakistan.  He is also the first  Australian batsman to perform the feat on home soil, while the other three Australian batsmen’s feat have come on away soil. He is also the second batsman to perform the feat on home soil after Majid Khan of Pakistan. DA Warner’s feat has come after 40 seasons. Majid Khan’s feat has come against New Zealand at Karachi in 1976-77.
