JR Hazzlewood batting at number eleven stayed at the crease for 26 minutes in the last wicket stand of 54 runs with MP Stoinis in the one day game between New Zealand and Australia at Auckland on 30.01.17 – He was dismissed runout without scoring and without facing a delivery. His stay at the crease constitutes a world record under such circumstances. It is noted with interest that no batsman batting at number eleven in the history of one day internationals had stayed at the crease for more than ten minutes while being dismissed run out for a duck without facing a delivery. The previous record for most minutes stay at the crease while being dismissed run out for a duck without facing a delivery was seven minutes by AA Donald of South Africa against Australia at Birmingham on 17.06.99.
