R Ashwin with his six five wicket hauls in the fourth innings of a test became the fourth bowler in the annals of test cricket to capture six or more five wicket hauls in the fourth innings of a test. He captured six for 41 in the fourth innings of the just concluded test at Bangalore between India and Australia. Others are – HMRKB Herath of Sri Lanka {nine occasions}.
