South Africa vs England Test series – MV Boucher's distinction

Mark Boucher of South Africa with his 51 in the third test against England at Cape Town in the ongoing test registered his 31st half century in his test career as a wicket keeper batsman. At the end of the first innings, Boucher has the record of registering most half centuries by a wicket keeper batsman in the annals of test cricket. Boucher by registering 51 in the first innings, went past England’s APE Knott’s 30 half centuries which was hither to the record for most half centuries by a wicket keeper batsman.
