V Kohli became the second Indian captain to collect a duck after facing ten or more deliveries. AL Wadekar was the other captain to suffer such an ignominy. AL Wadekar collected a duck after playing 13 deliveries against Engalnd at Kolkata in Dec 1972. It is interesting to note that the both the  Indian captains  suffered the ignominy at the same venue – Kolkata and 34 years 10 months and 16 days later

RB Simpson collected the duck against England at Lord’s in Jun 1964 and MA Atherton collected the duck against South Africa at Cape Town in Jan 1996.
