V Kohli had scored 19 centuries in his career prior to the start of the Delhi test against Sri Lanka. His 156 not out in the Delhi test fetched him his 20^th century. He became the sixth Indian batsman to score 20 or more centuries. Others are – SR Tendulkar {51}, R Dravid {36}, SM Gavaskar {34}, V Sehwag {23} and M Azharuddin {22}.
