Two batsmen’s centuries in losing cause in one day internationals
JM Bairstow and JE Root of England scored 138 and 102 respectively against New Zealand at Dunedin on 07.03.18. Their effort was in vain as England lost the game by five wickets to provide the 26th occasion of two batsmen’s centuries going in vain in the history of one-day internationals. All such occasions are tabulated below.
