R Dravid’s run out dismissal in the second innings of the first test against Bangladesh provides the 11th occasion of his being dismissed run out in a test innings. His eleven run out dismissals puts him on par with RT Ponting who also has been dismissed run out on eleven occasions.
Only AR Border {12} and ML Hayden {12} are the other two batsmen who have dismissed run out in a test innings on more occasions than R Dravid and RT Ponting.
CL Hooper and GS Sobers {both of West Indies} are the other two batsmen who have been dismissed run out on ten occasions in the list of batsmen who have been dismissed run out on ten or more occasions
