RG Sharma completes 7000 Twenty20 runs

RG Sharma’s run-aggregate at the end of the finals of Nidahas Trophy against Bangladesh on 18.03.18 read 1852. He now occupies the fifth position among the highest run-getters in T20Is. MJ Guptill {2271}, BB McCullum {2140}, V Kohli {1983} and TM Dilshan {1889} are the four batsmen who have scored more than RG Sharma in T20Is.

RG Sharma became the second Indian batsman to total 1800 runs in T20Is after V Kohli. V Kohli has an aggregate of 1983 runs.

RG Sharma registered his 16th fifty in T20Is when he scored 56 in this game.He now shares the second place with MJ Guptill for most fifties in T20Is. The first place is occupied by V Kohli with 18 fifties.

With the win against Bangladesh, India carved its 61st win in T20Is. India now occupies the second place in the list  of teams which have won most T20I games. The first place is occupied by Pakistan which has won 74 games. India went past South Africa which has won 60 games to occupy the second place.

India won its eighth game against Sri Lanka by winning this game. India and Pakistan share the record for winning most games against Bangladesh in T20Is. Pakistan has also won eight games against Bangladesh in 20Is

RG Sharma completed 7000 runs in T20s when he was on 26 during his knock of 56 in this game. At the end of this game, his run aggregate read 7030.
