Bangladesh vs India Test Series : Mirpur Test : SR Tendulkar and RT Ponting on par in 200 plus runs partnerships

SR Tendulkar and R Dravid were concerned in a 222 runs unfinished stand for the third wicket against Bangladesh at Mirpur. This stand provided SR Tendulkar the fifteenth 200 plus runs partnership for various wickets in a test innings. With this partnership, Tendulkar is on par with RT Ponting of Australia who is also one of the partners in 200 plus runs partnerships on 15 occasions.

SR Tendulkar and RT Ponting are the only two batsmen who have fifteen 200 plus runs partnerships to their credit in the annals of test cricket.
