SL Malinga’s 4 for 23 against Bangladesh at Dubai-DSC on 15.09.18 was in a losing cause and represents the sixth occasion of Malinga witnessing his four-wicket haul in a one day game going in vain. He now shares the record for most four-wicket hauls in losing cause in the history of one-day internationals with Saqlain Mushtaq of Pakistan.
