Sydney becomes the second ground to witness ten or more occasions of three three figure partnerships in a test innings after Lord’s
The ongoing test between Australia and India at Sydney witnessed India posting three three figure partnerships in its innings – 116 runs for the second wicket between MA Agarwal and CA Pujara, 101 runs for the fifth wicket between CA Pujara and GH Vihari and 204 runs for the seventh wicket between RR Pant and RA Jadeja to provide the tenth occasion of three three figure partnerships posted in a test innings at Sydney. Sydney became the second test ground in the annals of test cricket to witness ten or more three three figure partnerships in a test innings.
