V Kohli becomes the sixth captain to aggregate 5000 plus runs in test cricket
V Kohli of India completed 5000 runs as captain during his knock of 136 against Bangaldesh at Kolkata in the ongoing test. He needed 32 runs to reach the landmark prior to the start of the test. At the end of India’s innings, his run aggregate read 5104. He became the sixth captain to achieve the landmark in the annals of test cricket and became the first Indian captain to achieve the feat.
