Couple of landmarks for RG Sharma at Mount Maunganui
RG Sharma of India scored 60 not out and retired against New Zealand at Mt Maunganui on 02 Feb20 to post his 25th fifty in T20Is. He now owns the record for most fifties in T20Is. He went past V Kohli who has scored 24 fifties in T20Is. He also became the first batsman in the history of T20Is to score 25 fifties. All his 25 fifties are tabulated below

RG Sharma achieved few more land marks in this game. He was playing his 100th T20I innings in this game. He became the second batsman in the history of T20Is to play 100 plus innings after Shoaib Malik of Pakistan. Shoaib Malik has played 105 T20I innings.
He became the twelfth batsman to retire hurt not out in the history of T20Is. He also became the second batsman to retire hurt not out after scoring a fifty in T20Is. The following table lists both the batsmen.
