AJ Strauss of England is the only batsmen who have scored a hundred and a fifty on his test debut at Lord’s.  He achieved this rare feat by scoring 112 and 83 against New Zealand at Lord’s in May 2004.

SC Ganguly scored 131 and R Dravid scored 95 at Lord’s on their test debut against England in June 1996 to provide the second occasion of a batsman scoring a century and another  batsman scoring a ninety on their test debut in the annals of test cricket. The first such occasion was witnessed at Karachi when Pakistan batsmen Khalid Ibadulla {166} and Abdul Kadir {95} scored century and ninety on their test debut against Australia in Oct 1964.
