Rohit Sharma of Hyderabad completed 1000 runs in IPL when he was on 49 during the course of his knock of 73 in the game against Jaipur at Nagpur on 05.04.10. At the end of the game his aggregate stood at 1024

He is the fourth batsman to aggregate 1000 runs in IPL. The other three are AC Gilchrist of Hyderabad {1143}, SK Raina of Chennai 1125} and ML Hayden of Chennai {1057}.

The aggregate of SK Raina and ML Hayden include the runs scored by them against Mumbai at Chennai on 06.04.10

AC Gilchrist’s 1143 runs have come from 39 matches, 39 innings of which one was not out. His highest score is 109 not out. He has an average of 30.07 runs per innings. He has scored one hundred and seven half centuries. He has hit 126 boundary fours and 61 boundary sixes. AC Gilchrist owns the record for most boundary fours and most boundary sixes in IPL.

SK Raina’s 1125 runs have come from 40 matches, 38 innings of which six are not outs. His highest score is 98. He has an average of 35.15 runs per innings. He has scored six half centuries. He has hit 92 boundary fours and 50 boundary sixes.

ML Hayden’s 1057 runs have come from 26 matches, 26 innings out of which two were not outs. His highest score is 93. He has an average of 44.04 runs per innings. He has hit 114 boundary fours and 43 boundary sixes

RG Sharma’s 1024 runs have come from 38 matches and 37 innings out of which five were not outs. His highest score is 76 not out. He has an average of 32.00 runs per innings. He has hit 80 boundary fours and 48 boundary sixes

SK Raina is the third batsman to score 50 boundary sixes in IPL when he hit a six of the bowling of DJ Bravo in the game against Mumbai at Chennai on 06.04.10. The other two are – AC Gilchrist {61 sixes} and YK Pathan {58 sixes}
