IPL 2010 : DJ Hussey becomes the second cricketer to appear in 100 Twenty20 games
At the end of the league stage of IPL, DJ Hussey became the second batsman to appear in 100 Twenty 20 games. He played his 101st Twenty20 game against Mumbai at Kolkata on 19.04.10 in which he scored 20 not out. His 100th game was against Chennai at Chennai on 13.04.10. He failed to score in his 100th appearance as he was stumped by MS Dhoni of R Ashwin
The other batsman who has appeared in 100 plus Twenty20 games is JA Morkel. At the end of the league stage of IPL he has appeared in 105 matches. Morkel’s 100th appearance was the game between Chennai and Jaipur at Ahmedabad on 28.03.10 in which he scored 28 runs
DJ Hussey has scored 2449 runs from 101 matches and 96 innings of which 17 were not outs. His highest score is 100 not out and has an average of 31.00 runs per innings.
