Bowlers who have performed the “double hat trick” in Twenty20 Internationals
Four wickets in four balls is sometimes referred to as a double hat trick on the basis that there are two ways of compiling the three in three sequence (i.e. wickets 1, 2 and 3 or wickets 2, 3 and 4).
The following bowlers have performed the feat of double hat tricks or captured four wickets in four balls with JO Holder of West Indies being the latest entrant into the elite club
JO Holder of West Indies captured four wickets in four balls against England at Bridgetown on 30 Jan 2022 to provide the fourth occasion of a bowler performing the feat of capturing four wickets in four balls or “double hat trick” in the history of Twenty20 internationals.
